In Loving Memory of Elysa…
We here at Elikona.com are very sad to announce the loss of one of our very own. Elysa F. Bardossas, one of our precious, cherished, and beloved children, left this world, yesterday, July 9th, 2008. Elysa was only 11 years old. Born in Englewood, NJ, November 4, 1996, she was a 5th grade student at Franklin School in Bergenfield, NJ. Beloved daughter of Milagros (nee Cruz) and Evangelos Bardossas. Dear sister of Evangelos, Jr. and Robert Leslie Bardossas and Kristina and Jason Francisco Molina. Cherished granddaughter of Annarosa and the late Rafael Guzman and Theodoros Bardossas and the late Frances DeRoner. Survived by an incredibly loving family.
Elysa was one of the most amazing and influential little girls you could ever meet. If you had the opportunity to get to know this adorable young lady, you were surely blessed. Elysa was the definition of joy and enthusiasm. She had a smile that warmed any heart, and a personality that brought joy to anyone who had the pleasure. She was a little angel on this earth, and those of us who had the opportunity to enjoy her company will never forget her. She was our sweet princess, our muse. She had enough heart to light up this entire world. In her short life she overcame more challenges and more hardships than one could ever imagine; and she did it with a smile. She taught us that nothing is too difficult, and anything can be overcome with the right attitude.
Elysa was last in Greece in 2004 and had a special love for the place where her Grandfather was born. She was looking forward to spending her summer vacation there next year. In lieu of this, we dedicate every upcoming event we hold in memory of this special little girl. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the entire Bardossas family. Your loss is our loss. You are in our hearts and in our prayers. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be everlasting.
The Funeral service will be held at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ, on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation. Send a lasting condolence at riewertsmemorialhome.com .
